Owlz Groupies

Alright, So everyone knows that I love baseball! I really love Orem Owlz Baseball! And just a little side note there is only 72 more days until opening game! Anyways, See those hot 4 girls in the picture right above here. Well, Those are the Original.. OG's... Thats right Owlz Groupies baby! From left to right in the picture there is Gentry Dabling, Chelsea Dabling ( sisters.. obviously..) and then there is yours truly Holli Ridley, and then Meagen Ridley ( we are sisters.. obviously). My sister and I's parents and their parents have known eachother since any of us were born. But us 4 girls really got to know eachother the summer of 05' that when we started to all become friends. Both of our families becuase Host Families to some of the Orem Owlz players. The first year we 2 players and their family had 2 players also. It is so much fun to have the players live with you. We all love baseball so much but it makes it even funner to watch the games when you really know the players. ( And we get to hear about how bad the couch yells after the games they lose! Haha!) But it is just not the players that live with you that you get to know. Being apart of the OG's means you do alot of things that let you get to know pretty much the entire team! We never miss a home game.. Seriously.. we never miss a game. Our Season tickets are right on top of the visitors dug out first row.. that way we can disctract the visiting team by doing things like writting love notes to them on baseballs that they throw up to us and then totally DENY them when they ask us out by writting it on the ball =).. We also go down to our bullpen and talk to the pitchers to see, what they would like for dinner after the game, or how they are doing or when they will be pitching next. After the game we always wait for them outside the office and locker room ( And if you have ever been to an owlz game and then after have waited for the players you know what spot I am talking about) We wait to give them hugs after the games and tell them what we said to the other players on the "Love note ball" That they watched us pass back and forth between us and the vising team =). We also travel to as many away games as we can. It is not very often that we miss a game when they are in Idaho Falls. Last season, we traveled to one of the away games and we truley were.. The only Owlz fans there and we were sporting our owlz Red and yelling for our boys as loud as we could! That game went 17 innings... Yes SEVENTEEN innings and we stayed for the entire game that is just how dedicated we are!! We always go up to the fence or the bull pen befor the games to wish them all luck, even the couches know who we are =). So if you are ever at an Owlz Baseball game and you see 4 hot girls on the first row on the first base line Dancing , Laughing, Eating sun flower seeds, And being Awesome.. Thats us... OG'S
